Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
A fair, auditable workflow for refunds, reversed payments, duplicate charges, and account entitlements.
Contact us first
If a payment is wrong, duplicated, unauthorized, or not connected to the correct account, contact orientshift@gmail.com before opening a bank or card dispute when possible. We will investigate without requiring you to surrender any legal right to contact your payment provider.
Our review workflow
- Record the transaction, offer, account, provider event, and communication.
- Compare payment with the checkout offer, delivery record, entitlement, and refund request.
- Correct duplicate or unauthorized charges when confirmed and document the decision.
- Pause related entitlements while an open chargeback is reviewed when needed to prevent duplicate benefits.
- Submit accurate evidence through the payment provider and restore or close access when resolved.
Evidence and privacy
Evidence may include the checkout record, terms presented, payment event, delivery or access record, support communications, and refund history. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to the payment provider and protect participant content from unnecessary exposure.
No retaliation
Opening a good-faith dispute does not waive rights or automatically make you a bad actor. We restrict access only to prevent duplicate benefits, protect records, respond to fraud, or comply with a provider decision.
